Let's put it like this: if I'm assembling an argument in an academic paper and I placed all of my key points in footnotes, who's fault is that? The reader's for not reading the footnote, or is it mine for putting key facts in that footnote?
I'm not one of those people who believes in the conspiracy that everything was changed. I think this was the story from the beginning, and the grimore cards were deliberately placed there as a means to explain the story and not interfere with the coop gameplay.
