... though this would be an iffy one for people like myself who 'bought' the DLC already via special edition.

This one could be released for free and then the 2nd and 3rd DLC could be free to those with the season pass

I agree I bought the ghost edition so how would I be refunded .... Damn... Bungie c'mon we're your life source for your company treat us right we aren't asking for much but not to be ripped off of our hard earned money

If you read you'll see it isn't for the DLCs that are coming out, it is asking for the story to be fixed. New cut scenes, a change to some of the voice acting to make it make sense, missions editing to give the story more of an epic feel. They can bring out the DLCs out as add ons like they were meant to be but patch the story with a DLC.
