Trying to figure out how to come up with an event schedule that we can all work together on. I didn't realize that there were a lot of toons on the other side of the world who are sort of getting left out on the Raids and forced to PUG it up. My schedule is about to change, I work for 3-4 weeks away from home, and then I go home for 3 weeks where I have my kids full time. I play a LOT at night now, I don't play during the day. It is about to get switched. I will be on a LOT from about 9:30 AM US Mountain Time to about 2-3 PM. Then I may not be back at all, if I am it will be at about 9 PM.
It would be great to designate specific days of the week to certain events. The optimum progression schedule to where we can all benefit should look something like this:
--------------------------------------------
EVERY Day:
Bounties, Daily Heroic Story and at least 1 Public Event
Every day you should be doing this cycle regardless of what you HAVE to get done. Bounties should go without saying, you have a weekly cap of 100 Vanguard and Crucible marks. That right there is anywhere from new gear that you DO need to something you can dismantle for shards. The level 28 Heroic Story provides another 2 materials while just doing a single public event nets you one. Every day. Here is how that breaks down per week:
Public Event: 7 (maximum of 14 per week if you get a lucky drop from the event)
Daily Heroic Story: 14 Materials per week between Shards/Energy
Bounties/Public Events (With Nightfall EXP. Bonus): 100 marks and all of your bounties each day will get you to Vanguard rank 3 extremely fast. Every level past 3, including level 3 itself will net you Legendary rewards, they show up in your mailbox just like the Cryptarch mail. When completing all of your Bounties, and doing a few misc. activities in between, you should catch about two levels per week. I have gotten anywhere from one-two materials and or/a random legendary weapon/armor with each level gain.
This makes for a GUARANTEED total of 21 materials every week, with a chance for 28, all great ways to advance.
---------------------------------------------
Mondays:
Raid runs for beginners
Mondays should be reserved for a fresh Raid from the start so people who have not cleared VoG on normal yet can loot. We can work with anything on normal in there up until Atheon himself. This will ensure that our newer and lower level members can catch loot and level up, get them used to Raiding. This run will start at the door, go through all 3 phases of the Templar fight, and through the Gorgon's maze. This will take about 2-3 hours tops with a brand new, all level 25, first time ever in the vault team. By doing this they will have a definite gain of 3-4 chests providing anywhere from 6-12 ascendant materials/raid gear/weapons, and 2 phase drops providing another chance at Materials/Raid Gear/Weapons. On an unlucky run (where you just get materials you WILL get a minimum of 15-20 materials for 3 hours of work between material drops and Legendary/Exotic dismantling, great stuff for catching levels. If we have enough interest we may need to start an additional Raid team to cover everyone, with 1-2 dedicated leaders focused on clearing the Atheon phases from that point.
------------------------------------------------
Tuesdays:
Nightfall Strike
Tuesdays should be reserved for Nightfall runs for ANYONE who is qualified to go. I think the minimum is level 25 and that is perfectly acceptable. IF, and I repeat IF, you are below level 28 and you decide that you want to participate in these it is critical that you follow instructions. You will die if you engage the enemy at anything from their range, in one shot. Even the smallest enemies will be doing well over 300% damage to you, so please, be prepared to play medic and NOT catch aggro from them by shooting at them. This is especially important on Vex enemies as a missed critical can wipe the team. I have taken well over ten-15 level 25 people through this week by playing things safe, taking time between each phase and playing it safe. I have seen a ton of exotics drop for these guys, along with 7-12 ascendant materials and 6-12 strange coins.

Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays:
Raid Progression Teams
Raiding is a major endgame focus in Destiny. It takes a team of people who keep their cool and work together to complete these. They can seem impossible at first and only through hard work, keeping a level head and playing at the top of your game non-stop for about 20-30 minutes will you complete 100% of any given raid. Wednesdays should be reserved for progression teams. Progression teams can be on normal and hard, with a run from the Raid on normal first, then continue the Raid on hard mode directly following the normal one. This will not be for everyone, this takes dedication and defines the term teamwork. I would like to begin putting together a progression team for VoG on normal and hard these nights. This will be comprised of six team members including myself. We will begin on normal mode, from the beginning, continue on to the templar, through the maze and then killing Atheon. Dedicated times can be anywhere from 1-4 hours each night for a total of 3-12 hours a week of dedicated Raiding with the same team. I will make a forum post soon about starting a progression team for this purpose, stay tuned.

Thursdays, Saturdays:
Take a break.
Take a break. Take a break. Take a break. Burnout sucks, catch up on bounties, strikes, whatever =)

If you are interested at all in any of this, or willing to lead a team in any of these activities, you CAN do it. Dig deep, donate some time, and make a couple of new friends. If and when you fail, it is not a single persons fault, the fault lies within the group, 1-2 people may not be good where they are at, it is just a matter of finding an area that they excel in. If you feel like this may be something that you want to take part in, please post the required information below:
- Current character level
- Timezone
- Time you can dedicate weekly, and on weekends
- Roles that you excel at, for example, long range, mid range, and short range
- Gamertag
