So many moments that make you look back and say GOD DAMN!! Just tonight doing the raid on level 30 had so many when you think its going smooth one little mistake can lead to a wipe. 6 people defending 3 confluxeses sounds easy right.... no. we made it to all three with everyone alive but then a guardian is down we move people around to compensate but not long after another is hit we're down to four with minotaurs and hobs swarming I go down and think everythings lost when the confluxes disappears but now 3 are left and a horde of fanatics and harpes come out the others run for cover but anothers hit its up to the last two and of course one doesnt make it.... but wait he's a warlock and jumps up to take cover and the two finish to the next point... Killing the templar is no easy task taking refuge on the pillar but slowly people get picked off the templar is enraged and will not stop when its just the relic holder and a lone sniper doing as much damage as he can until he explodes. We now split to three teams to get both relics at the same time and defend the conflux before we manage to get out someone on the outside gets hit now its a race to the relic before the pateorian closes our gate we kill the gatekeeper my partner some sexy sounding southern girl runs out to hold him off im close behind both relics are had and we make our way to the middle conflux seems smooth but still down a person we last a while and second relic guy goes down.... easy fix someone goes for the relic but unexperienced lasts only seconds... now down three with minotaurs and pateorians swarming next up grabs the relic but hit instantly, now just me and the girl she goes for the relic but again gets wrecked now a relic down im holding mine and im surrounded. Im running like a chicken without a head screan is going red minotaurs are sacrificing to the relic and when i give up we hit the next check point just in time and being able to see atheon fall into the dark void is just so worth it. This is just a few of the aha moments ive had in destiny and it makes the game so much more then just a game and when you come up victorious the sense of accomplishment and relief is great.
