Love that pic. Do think Blade Dancer is too durable when rushing in. I've seen them take shotguns to the chest from a few meters out, or eat multiple bursts of a Pulse Rifle and still come out on top. I've killed Warlocks winding up, but Hunters are tougher. It doesn't help that the maps generally are laid out to maximise close and mid-range fighting, meaning there are plenty of corners to turn, lowering the chances of a kill when a Hunter is charging. The whole fabric of Crucible (maps, weapon balancing, regenerating health, special jumps) makes melee and close-range builds less risky than they should be. This is the kind of build only a minority should be able to pull off well. Also, even a small amount of latency, and it's game over. I play from an Asian country where Destiny isn't too popular, meaning a lot of overseas players in matches.

Blade dancer really isnt OP. Its fairly easy to Kill or Dodge. supers are well.. super. They are supposed to be OP. Thats why they have a long charge time.
-
You just have to know where to go; on one map I had a 15 kill streak with my sniper because the whole team kept running blindly down one path hoping to melee/shotgun the rest of my team. I'm not saying that it was due to my skill (which I'm average at best) but it's possible to counter every tactic... Expand your style man! Just sayin

Radiant super cuts damage in half Blade Dancer cuts it a little bit more. Sun singer using radiance with the defense mod on it take 8 dmg from the shingen e Blade Dancer takes 7. The normal is 16 (body shots) He doesn't bother me supers should be super. I don't play PvP that much anyway.

Best gif ever. Is that actually gameplay from the crucible?
-
To me that just sums up a player that does not know what to do against an Arc Blade.
-
Oh so how do you counter Arc Blades?

Edited by Just Dave Man: 10/13/2014 11:52:42 PMShotguns, nades and a couple of hipfire bullets, melees, rockets, machine guns, Warlock or Titan nukes. There are so many things which kill an arc blade if you dont panic when its coming at you. Shotgun headshots happen on me quite regularly and I do it to others too. The hunter really does have to put the most work in when it comes to supers. They can't just mash it out and insta nuke people like the other classes do.

lies!!!

true that :)
-
Lmao awesome xD
-
Who needs guns when you can just punch them in the head and they explode?
-
Haha classic run and knifing in cod.. Also made people cry but there was chat so you would hear about it between games lol
-
this is best pony

i just think that if you shoot a rocket in to a blade dancers face they should die. but yesterday i did just that and he didnt die i think the special is fine but they should nerf the amount of damage they can take while super is active

Edited by Just Dave Man: 10/13/2014 3:02:46 PMDude I get 1 shotted out of it from a shotgun so much and do it to others too. I've also had times where I've melee'd a guy 3 or 4 times and then get punched 1 time and die. How is nerfing a super that actually requires some work and coordination to operate going to be even closed to balanced to the 400 mile radius insta nukes that Warlocks and Titans have?
-
Yeah that happened to me to.
-
Cause if you take a rocket blast right to your face and don't die that's bull shit. I saw him coming jumped in the air watched him kill my team mate shot a rocket right at him thought he died and got knifed in the back pure bullshit
-
work and coordination? You mean sprint and mash melee with your thumbstick pointed in the general direction of an enemy?
-
I'd be ok with that as long as the super wast wasted if you got nothing accomplished. if a titan tries to run in to use his super and dies he gets his super back (chances are he died before activating). if a warlock does the same thing. but a hunter needs to activate his super and then try to run in due to the long activation time, during witch there is enough time to easily kill the hunter, and then try to get into range, where they can be fairly easily killed before even getting into range.
