Yes because not everyone who bought the game plays it everyday given they still have the game

I know how statistics work
Studying it as part of my degree tends to achieve that

Well you brought up the numbers not me, and its 3.2m average so even more shame on you. I already have my philosophy degree so trust me I know about stats and how they can be used. Maybe you should be more careful in bringing them up? And/or study more so you learn what a can of worms even bringing them up can be?

Someone with such experience in statistics would have realised that I for one were referring to the average daily player involvement And secondly wouldnt have made that 3.2/10 million statement You knew what I meant No need to get nitpicky about something so insignificant

Le sigh yes you did...
Someone with such experience in statistics ... And secondly wouldnt have made...
You're the one still studying, do you have to write papers for your degree your studying? Words and/or lack of words have meaning and implications. Especially when arguing stats and numbers. And deflecting, while a viable option, makes your stance look weaker. I've already left feedback for bungie about their numbers in a thread specifically with the 3.2 million in the title. For some reason I doubt I'll get a response though. But as I think about it, if I had some number or stat I was proud of, I'm pretty sure I'd throw it out there while I was "flaunting" others.

Yes and I'll admit to any mistakes I've made then even though my intended message wasn't portrayed correctly Yes I do have to write plenty a paper Surprisingly very little for the areas of statistics I covered though :/ And yeah I doubt you would get any response, the recent article which was addressing issues with the iron banner only deflected the issue somewhat They admitted the existance of the lack of uniqueness in the event, yet aside from alluding to improvements when it returns never outlined what would be changed
