I don't really play PvP (because I'm TERRIBLE), but I've been trying it lately and having fun. I was playing Control with some friends as a Sunsinger when we went to keep a couple enemy players from capping a flag. Along the way, the teammates accompanying me managed to wander off or die, but I somehow got there. I jumped up to get over the ledge the flag was on, only to see a lone Hunter sitting in the circle, guarding a different entrance. I quietly glide back down beneath the ledge, hoping she didn't see me, and pull out my super lame shotty. I proceed to jump up, catch myself in the air with Angel of Light, get a shot in, drop back below the ledge, and repeat, like, twice. Crucible's pretty fun, haha
