this is a bullshit argument. It isn't about the number of hours. It's about the quality of the time spent and the customer satisfaction. The point is many players felt the time invested in the game resulted in dissatisfaction regarding the story. You had to grind till at least 28 for what? A raid which barely had anything to connect with lore wise. Case in point a game can cost 45 dollars but only play for 6-10 hours at most but players won't complain because it was a good experience throughout. Destiny you play 40 hours and all you got were some cutscenes, bad exposition via dinklebot, and plotholes the Traveler can fall through. That's why people complain.

Edited by CallMeKujo: 10/12/2014 3:26:49 PMSo your saying playing 40 hours opposed to 6-10 hours is a bad thing? Clearly the game has enticed you in some way. Just trying to make sense of your argument as so far you have contradicting points of interest.

Enticed is the flip side of compelled, forced if you wanna be even more cynical. The point is the experience set out for us in Destiny is sorely lacking.

Are you one of those people that play it most of the day? If so, I could see the repetiveness. So try being productive, you obviously care enough to write about the game, the negative aspect at least; but give constructive criticism. I play a few hours a day when I get home from work. Maybe on the weekends if I'm lucky. I guess I'm considered a real casual gamer in which Destiny fits my interests just fine. And nobody forces you to play Destiny.
