Lol my main class is a Titan but I also have a bladedancer Hunter as well, and I've been on both the giving and receiving end of an arc blade. And I can tell you that using arc blade feels (and is) so overpowered. It's crazy I've shot rockets at them, had an entire team shot at them, and even hulk smashed them with FoH (Fists of Havoc) and they just don't die. I've even had the same done to me and getting a shot to the face with a rocket would normally make me say "well next life I'll do better" but with arc blade active I'm like "DAT TIKLEZ IMMA MURDA U NOHW." Only way to kill a BD Hunter is shoot while they're murdering your team across the map or Nova Bomb which HA...Titans don't get. Yes, even FoH can't just outright kill them, if you have aftermath or a pulse 'nade thenif they stay there long enough for one burst to go off combined with a FoH then maybe...just maybe. It's gotten to the point that if I see someone go blade dancer I either don't waste bullets and just let them kill me or I hope they see a dif teammate and I run and run and don't look back. Or if I'm lucky and hear it before I see it I try and hide till it wears off.

Thats what it feels like to others. to Arc Bladders its pretty different. you really can only get 3 people. maybe 4 if your lucky. still is freaking funny.
-
Is that mw2? Or cod 4? Little blurry on my screen
-
Haha, that made me laugh!
-
i actually don't mind that map takes tac knifing to a whole new level lol
-
All these mad Huntards who can't take a joke. Truly BTFO by based Titan master-race

I found out that Pocket Infinity is a good counter :D

I think its pretty funny, the gif is hilarious haha. I use bladedancer but still panic when there's arcblade coming at me so the pain is real.

The people complaining about Hunters being OP are ridiculous. First of all, BD's aren't any more difficult to kill during their super than the other two classes. In fact, both Hunter supers have extended animations before they can even deal damage, unlike the other two classes, leaving then wide open. What's more is that even if you can't see the Hunter activating a super, you can still hear it coming just fine. Really, if you aren't within earshot of a hunters super then you're probably safe. Secondly, hunters have the worst grenades by a lot. They're so bad that I'm not even sure you could argue otherwise. Each class has their advantages in some way; it's like rock, paper, scissors that way. If you don't like it, don't play pvp.

PVP sucks

I will assume some of you are playing on a wifi connection.. things that you think are overpowered are probably the things that happen to you because of that connection delay. There have been plenty of times I shot rockets, sticky grendaded, sprayed and prayed on a bladedancer and still die because of wifi connection speed. But when I use bladedancer I get killed during the activation animation, rushing, killed by another bladedancer even though I slashed first. All those "wtf" moments are because of the wifi connection. Time to get hard wired.

Many smart people catch Bladedancers out. They can be run away from and ranged if you see them (or hear them) coming. Also a good Shotgun to the face OHKs as well. Keep your distance if possible as they don't get long in their little dance. You will die a lot but at least you have a chance. Titans on the other hand, well there is really no getting away from that smash. I think if you are high enough (jump / double jump) you should not die, maybe injured, but not OHK. This never works form me, it's instant death.

Arc blade is over powered in PVP, almost everybody agrees on that, and so is the titan smash and the bubble shield. Particularly when any of these things are used in Control, where teams are constantly forced to congregate in a small space to either take a zone or hold it. You have no choice in that matter, you can't take a zone from 50 feet away. Titan runs in around a blind corner, smashes, and everybody instantly dies, period. Hunter arc blades into a room around a blind corner and everybody dies, 80% of the time. At the very least the smash needs to be changed to only kill things that are on the ground , and damage should be dramatically reduced or eliminated for anybody in the air while smashing (height could be factored in too possibly). That, or the damage should be dispersed amongst the enemies within the range of the smash. One enemy in range = instant death, two = health down to critical level, three = half health, etc.. The bubble shield also lasts way too long, 10 seconds would be more than long enough. Ideally it should also be color coded to the team, so you know whether it's your team's bubble or an enemy's. I currently have a lvl 29 Warlock and a lvl 25 Hunter, and I'll make a Titan at some point, but I'd feel the same way regardless of which characters I had and what level they were.

Edited by vivini: 10/14/2014 5:58:10 AMActually a titan who just walks buy and smashes the ground with lightning that hits everyone no matter how far away you are killing the whole team while capturing a flag....including the people who has taken cover behind objects that even rockets can't cut thru are over powered in my opinion.

Dude that guy with the knife has some serious skill to be able to pull that kill off
sarcasm
Blade dancer hunters aren't OP, warlocks and titans have 1 hit k0s they can just whip out on the spot, as a blade dancer I have to change and then come get you before my time runs out. It's actually a lot more difficult than you think unless you're against an idiot who just stands there for you.

Its like World War II but with Destiny classes
-
I dancebladed 4 enemies during the last few seconds of a "Clash" match and then my team won. The other two enemies stood around like in a daze because apparently they relax cos they thought they're winning for sure. LOL.

More whining from someone who hasn't played a blade dancer

You say Arc Blade is cheap. Have you seen Nooba Bomb and Fist of WHAT THE HECK. Those two are 99% invincible when casting and are devastating as they can even go through freaking walls!
