Okay so Destiny had a huge hype only to have half of those people beating the game in less than a week. Myself, getting Destiny a week ago have already beat the game with little effort. I have a couple of things I think would give Destiny the power to control the gaming community.
- Levels: Sure, Destiny has a long storyline, but the storyline is you spawning in the same spot on each planet shooting enemy's then beating the mission. But the missions can't be this
Ghost: "Alright here is some alien computer things let me shoot lasers at it while you defend me"
Guardian: "Again? This is like the 80th time!
Ghost: "Well thank Bungie this is all I can do"
Guardian: "Screw this I am going back to halo"
Ghost: "pls"
- Engrams: Yes, engrams are one of the key features of Destiny having that lottery like feeling every time you open one, but the amount of green and blue engrams is ticking off players everywhere. Also purple engrams or legendary engrams GIVE YOU FRICKEN GREEN AND BLUE WEAPONS! I mean really legendary engrams have the same chance of spawning as a you finding Bigfoot. It's impossible. 3 hours of grinding gave me 1 legendary engram, and my hard work gets paid off with a green 53 fusion rifle. Simple solution, the higher difficultly the better engrams you get. Instead of having RANDOM ENGRAMS!
- Random Drops: This is why i cry at night, I finish my control match with a 3:41 ratio and you know what I get, NOTHING. But of course Mr. .24 ratio gets a rare engram and a 206 damage fusion rifle! I was just ready to take Destiny and break it in half. Is Destiny just a casino? Or can it be fixed? Simple Solution: The top two get two prizes, the third best gets one prize. And the rest can go play some campaign.
- Trading: Okay read before you comment everyone. Trading could be a new step for Destiny, but only if you do it the right way. The Wrong way to do it is to let anything be traded for anything like a exotic armor being traded for the starting gun is bs. The Right way is to only be able to trade for the same tier. Like exotic auto rifle can only be traded with other exotic gear.
Those are a few rants but Destiny still is my favorite game right now. There is more to it but I'll talk about that later. If you like this post be sure to follow for future info!

Edited by NERD RAGE XB1: 10/12/2014 3:06:09 AMThere are so many things that Destiny is currently lacking that expecting them to be added at this point is almost delusional. They will add a few things... But the game over all will remain the same No open worlds Random shit rewards Broken servers Barebones story Poorly acted lines All becoming very bland. They are not going to be adding content quick enough... And it is all just so limited right now The shitty servers at this point are driving me to the brink and are what is going to make me finally quit though if they don't get the shit fixed

Of course it needs more, your just not getting it til bungie sais so and you pay for it with money. Ah destiny, an "open, shared world" fps with rpg mechanics and many mechanics also borrowed from mmos and loot based RPGs. Yet delivers almost the same content of a standard run of the mill fps that can be finished for the most part in one day if someone really wanted to. Honestly don't know what they were thinking with this game. They wanted to make a standard fps, but borrowed heavily on many features from different genres, traditionally associated with games that take more than a day to beat. Just, no. Bungie, I see where things are going in terms of monetization for this game and I'll have no part of it.

Diversity of gameplay and modes. The only thing it rocks at are tight fps mechanics
