If there are (were?) eight other Warminds besides Rasputin wouldn't that make nine? Do we know what the Nine are? Is Xur an agent of the Warminds? Was there a Warmind for each planet?

The warminds probably protected major human colonies, say moons around Saturn and Jupiter? Don't see anybody actually living on the gas giants Edit: although I do think you have a potential conspiracy theory about the warminds being "the nine"

I think they announced this week that Pluto actually is a planet. Not really sure, have to check it.

There are a few other planet like objects similar in size to Pluto in our solar system, Pluto was reclassified a dwarf planet because they found one that's bigger. I think it is called Enris or something along those lines. Really we have 12 planets, 4 of which are dwarf planets. There could even more that haven't been spotted because of their orbits.
