Well I'm terribly sorry that I prefer the benefits of the Ice Breaker, even though killing a boss could take me marginally more time, making little to no difference in the end. And besides, I can switch weapons which is faster than reloading and still deal considerable damage with my Scout while the Ice Breaker charges without me having to do anything.
And funny thing, I kill Atheon in just as much time with my friends.
Though the weak spot on Atheon can be a minor pain. I every so often run into a shot or two that apparently didn't hit the weak spot, but then shoot off to the side of him and it counts as a crit.
I use Ice Breaker for nearly everything because it rips everything apart for me. The only time I don't is CQC in the Crucible.

The stability on P&T though. I couldnt imagine using a sniper with so little stability.

Having used so many different snipers in so many different games, I'm used to all sorts of stability levels. I'm still not perfect with it, but I'm used to the kick on the Ice Breaker, so it isn't a huge issue for me.
