Okay so I'm gonna try to see if I can get some people agree with each other here, please continue reading if you can understand someone else's point of view. So xur sells exotic weapons and this angers some people who got there's through luck. However this is good for players who are not lucky and may have the hardest time getting 1 exotic. The problem here is that xur breaks the current rng system that bungie has centered their game around and because xur sells specific exotic weapons he makes them very common and less rare making people that had it and were apart of a small crowed feel like they aren't holding anything special now. But exotics should feel somewhat special. What I propose is that xur should not sell specific exotic weapons, instead he should sell an exotic engram for each a primary, a special, or a heavy. This way people are still rolling the dice while getting an exotic to benefit them and it also still makes exotics rather unique as it is a random exotic creating diversity in your fireteam and on pvp. Let me know what you guys think. I just wanna see people on the same page here.

You have a misconception here. The game is not centered around RNG. The RNG loot is bonus. Earn vanguard/crucible marks and buy gear. Earn exotic coins and buy exotics. It only takes a week or two to be decked out in full legendary / exotic armor to reach levels 27-29. All the people waiting around for RNG probably are still around level 25-26. The problem is that the people who get one by luck feel special/lucky. When they see that other people can buy one they no longer feel special and don't want other players to have one. Destiny will always favor the people who earn marks and strange coins to buy gear because that is what the game is built around. That is why you have the four currencies and the weekly caps on how much you can earn.
