I can recall my childhood through the games I played at the time so some of these games are just for the nostalgia factor like Diablo 2. You play the track for Tristram and it's tugs at my inner kid haha. Also I've been a long time fan of From Software before their Dark Souls days so I'd recommend AC3 (Armored Core 3) to anybody that is a fan of the Mecha genre. These games are divided up by platform in no particular order. [b]PS2[/b] Armored Core 3 Kingdom Hearts 2 [b]Xbox[/b] Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic [b]PC[/b] Starcraft 1 Doom 3 Diablo 2 [b]Xbox 360[/b] Dark Souls Halo Reach Mass Effect 2 Bioshock Some Honorable mentions are: Metroid Fusion (GBA), Halo Wars, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Runescape Also the best DLC I've ever played is the Artorias of the Abyss DLC for Dark Souls and the best expansion I've had the pleasure of experiencing was the Lord of Destruction expansion for Diablo 2. As for why Destiny isn't on my list it's because it doesn't even crack my top 30 games. Still in my life I've played about 100 games for enough time to say they've left an impact on me so being somewhere in the 30s isn't all that bad but it's also probably that high since it's my most recent game and I'm a bit biased towards it. Hopefully Destiny will improve enough that it can break into the teens one day :D
