List your top 10 games of all time. Is Destiny on it?
Explain why or why not Destiny is or isn't on your top 10.
[b]Update:[/b] and just as i suspected. the destiny fanboys top 10 are all full of FPS and just plain bad and corny games. some people really surprised me by not having many shooters at all in their lists but still having destiny
You guys should really either expand your gaming selections, or play SOMETHING other than a shooter...
I think you'd find there are MUCH better games out there as long as you're willing to go outside your comfort zone.

Oh.... Am I past 10? Damn. Honestly, this is a hard list once I get past BG2 and HL2. As for your question: it's too early to tell if Destiny makes the list for me. These are classics and part of that test is time. Future expansions and DLC will tell how it fairs. I will say this: Destiny is the best thing I've played this generation and I'm still enjoying it. It's the best online game I've played since WoW, even if they are apples and oranges. I think the fact that we're comparing a shooter to games like WoW and Diablo says a lot. Destiny certainly smokes those games in the PVP department, but that's to be expected because the Halo heritage. Also, of course FPS games will be in lists... Wtf did you expect? DESTINY IS A FPS!

I'm not really able to rank my top ten games of all time, without using more time than I am willing to. I love destiny, but with all its flaws, it would never reach my top ten list. It could maybe be up there in the far away future though

#1 T4C: The Fourth Coming PC only MMORPG #2 Halo #3 Zelda Ocarina of Time #4 Altered Beast #5 Elder Scrolls Skyrim #6 Toe Jam and Earl #7 Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat Trilogy for a tie #8 Sonic The Hedgehog 3 #9 Bioshock #10 Super Smash Bros Melee These are just a few that came to mind. I have great memories of real PvP on T4C sometimes upwards of 40 people battling watching as enemies would die and drop their precious equipped gear and scrambling to click the items into you're own bag, aww the glory days. Then there is Halo system linking 4 systems in one house echoing gunshots and raging throughout the house. Great memories come to mind when I think of video games and the people I have encountered

Morrowind, oblivion, skyrim, knights of the old republic, Halo, Halo 2, Zelda: Ocarina of time, Fallout 3, and mass effect. Destiny isn't close maybe top 25 or 30.

And just because something is bad to you doesnt mean it isnt amazing to someone else. Hell, CoD Ghosts could even somehow be someone's favorite game. I would accept their opinion even though i hate that game, but love all the other CoDs (except the first Black Ops :P)

In no particular order here is my list Pokemon Platinum Pokemon Fire Red Gears of War Gears of War 2 Gears of War 3 Super Smash Bros Melee Mario Party 2 Star Wars Battlefront 2 Super Mario 64 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Destiny hasn't been out long enough for me to make a deep attachment. CoD MW3 is there because of the memories i had with my friends in multiplayer. The rest are just badass games IMO

5 RepliesLast of us Halo CE Counterstrike 1.6 and Source MAG Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Warcraft 3 After this the list becomes too close to call with any accuracy as it would depend more on what games I remember. Destiny is a lot of fun but it falls in the numerous other games I have played and enjoyed immensly without being one of my top games of all times.

Halo:CE (hated anything after that) Megaman 2 Counter-Strike all the way up to 1.5 Castlevania SOTN Contra Res evil 2 MGS 1 Diablo 2 Final Fantasy 7 Super Mario Bros Destiny might be on my list in a few months. So far it's one of the only games that has hooked me so much (play on average 2-3 hours per day). The only games that have hooked me as much would be diablo 2, cs and halo. So we'll see what bungie has in store. This game still excites me every day despite the repetitiveness because I'm still progressing (guns, gear) - which is what a good rpg does. I have 3 different classes, so alot to do each week (nightfall 3x, weekly heroic 3x, daily 3x, raid 4x (warlock can do normal and hard) and countless bounties).
