Hey there, for those of you interested in running Vault of Glass for the first time I would love to help a few of you guys through there on a weekly basis. Once I get home and start up Destiny I get pretty bad about logging on here through my phone and checking for groups. The BEST way to get ahold of me is to send me a message in game about wanting to go out and do something. The minimum requirements will be posted here:
Level 26+
Microphone for instructions/communication
PATIENCE
Long range weaponry (Scout Rifles/Sniper)
Shoot me a message if interested, I know a few of you are from last night. Gamertag is Grisbourne. I don't play any kind of PvP in this game so I am almost ALWAYS free to do something.
Probably need to add that I am 35 years old and have a full time job. I work from 7-4 US Mountain time. I usually get on Destiny when I get home and put it down when I fall asleep for now.
I am also going to put in here that I have zero tolerance for people who criticize others when in a party, people who scream, yell and make fun of people for messing up. If I am a fireteam leader and you exhibit any kind of behavior there is only going to be a couple of warnings before you get sent back to orbit. To make this clear, I have zero problems wiping in a raid 400 times as long as people are happy and willing to learn from their mistakes. All it takes is one asshole to spoil a good time.
This will be a learning process, if you are fooling around and not listening there is no real point of going to be honest. Before each major point I will be stopping and explaining how the fights pan out, what to do, when to do it and what is generally going to spawn where. I am going to be donating a lot of my free time to do this so I expect anyone who is serious about completing this Raid to have respect for that. This entire thing can be done in about an hour if we all work together.

The reason for long range weaponry is because every time you die in the raid on normal you are putting your team at risk. It takes the entire team, not so much on normal, to get through this, there are parts that you cannot even do with less than 4-5 people. You need a different assortment of weapons for each situation, with a combination of instant, heavy firepower and long range at the end, and the beginning.
