What is One of Your Favorite Books, but when it was a movie it sucked.
I think, it would have to be Ender's Game. Without revealing too much along the story, they missed so many key moments in Ender's "childhood" I ended up turning my TV off the first time I watched it. So what is your opinion?

3 RepliesThe Hobbit. I loved the book but the movies SUCK. There is just too much irrelevant crap mixed in, and stretching it out into three movies shows Peter Jackson just wants money, which is really sad because the LOTR movies were good.

1 ReplyAgree with op, enders game definitely, eragon as well. Movies were both so bad comparatively. But imo, Atlus Shrugged. Movie missed so much goins on that happened in the book, and they even made it a two parter! Not sure if the 2nd part is out yet but the first part missed so much...terrible. idk if anyone here has read that, but its a good one. Long and kinda hard, but good. Atlus shrugged by Ayn Rand. (Think thats how the first name is)

Judge dredd the comics are great but the first movie with Stallone was terrible but I'm glad they made Dredd that movie nailed it! Also the Toby McGuire spider man trilogy was god awful.

Those who know the author know what book I'm talking about. But then there's the movie. The sad, strange little life form. [spoiler]I'm speaking about Eragon.
