You are trying too hard. Halo 3 had issues but I enjoyed it a lot. Why would I wish I did not buy Halo 3? Obviously it wasn't too bad for me not to play it. Again you are trying too hard. To wrap up this waste of time convo, and to repeat the point that was trying to be made, you and others (the community that you speak) liking a product is IRRELEVANT to the real and valid issues it has. People complain that they are adding too much randomness to Halo, then Reach introduces bloom on the DMR and takes one aspect of the randomness complaint (in this case with gun battles) to new heights, is a valid issue out of a long list of issues the game has and you enjoying the game should have NOTHING to do with your human brain being able to see that the weapon randomness people have been complaining about for years was made much worst with the DMR. 1 + 1 = 2. I enjoyed Halo 3 but my brain was able to comprehend that the net code was horrible and not only was that my experience, but it was the experience that was one of the most talked about when it came to Halo 3 issues for the 3 years is was the latest Halo game. I can enjoy something and spot its issues, can you? Sorry if my posts tend to come off as harsh but it is hard to sugar coat people whose argument is (or seemingly) based on "but I liked it so I am going to argue in topics that mention one thing others don't like so I feel better, even though what is being said are very real world issues that I don't want to hear about because [insert whatever makes you tick here]".

You can say skill all you want but a level 4 armor should NOT be able to destroy high 20's which is consistent across the game from what i've personally seen and witnessed from others accounts and videos online. Kills from behind are one thing but in head to head gun fights it should take 2 clips minimum with an low level AR to take out a level 28+ Player. Also why are all of these "Events" being had if the gear you collect doesn't help you level to 30? I'm hoping that down the line Bungie changes it to where event gear can get you to 30 but only if it is equipped in a full set with one exotic. That way each event has importance of collecting the available piece of Event Gear. I want to go into Iron Banner and wear Iron Banner Gear or Gear from the Queen's Wrath but if it makes me less powerful (allegedly) than my VoG gear what's the point?

Tell me how having power gap that large is good for the game as a whole?

It makes the Grinding and repetitive strikes and raiding feel worth it. when the iron banner comes around you know you EARNED the right to be a "Man (or Woman) among boys!

I understood, I was just being a smart ass. I would say I feel differently, as I always viewed PVP as a pure test of skill and not "gear".

I was doing the same, it wasn't intended any other way... I feel the same way on PvP, however when it is advertised emphasizing how our gear matters. it feels misleading to see the amount in which it matters is slim to none.

The crucible is supposed to be a level playing field for everyone to just get in and own fools. *Level Advantages Disabled* The Iron Banner (a Timed Event, not representing the game as a whole) is supposed to be a place where all the hard work you put into upgrading your armor and weapons shows. It's not supposed to be a level playing field. If you don't have the armor, legendaries and exotics to stand toe to toe with the plus 20's then you should get turned into blood paste and smeared across the floor. *Level Advantages ENFREAKINABLED* Heres an example via Pokemon. You don't enter a cave you know is full of lvl 28 Zubats when your entire arsenal is 2 lvl 4 pokemon. Do you expect the Zubat to drop dead after the first attack? No. Then what do you do? You go grind the grass till you earn your pokemon levels. STAY out of the cave till you can handle going in there. The game is just as good when you were lvl 4 you just had to wait to go in the cave. The game isn't broken cause you can't wipe the floor with your army of 2 in the beginning. The Iron Banner should be the same way. Lvl 4's shouldn't even have the option to go in there else they just explode when 20+ look at them.

Great it will be in the weekly update that means nothing will get answered. I love this game. I have played a lot. But it has gotten to the point where the weekly events are worthless rep grinds. Iron banner is no different what so ever. And before your response to the op in the weekly update you should read your own from last week. You claimed that you were in the community's corner. How about you actually do that. Your community is begging for change. That is why we were excited for iron banner. It was supposed to be change. I got excited for the new shader its bad when people aren't excited about the event but the shader. If that is how weak these events are going to be is there a reason to even play destiny till the expansion comes? Now am I expecting huge weekly events? No. All I am asking is have the events actually have a purpose. Example nightfall strike is amazing its fun challenging and reward you for doing them. Why does no event reward you?
