So a great feat has been accomplished by our First Crusader Raiders, The VOG has been defeated! The process was difficult and i think in future raids (like the one we're doing tonight) I'd highly recommend having at least 4 veterans helping out, specifically 2 vets who went through the portals and 2 that helped keep the portals open, that way we can teach the 2 new raiders what to do and still have a high chance of completion. The new standard is to beat the VOG in one night, if we drag it on for days the chance of completion dramatically decreases. In other news I've done a little more research into "hard mode" for the VOG and it turns out that if you all die you simply restart at your previous checkpoint and you do NOT go back to orbit like we previously thought. So hard mode is a bit more attainable now with that in mind. Hard mode should only be attempted by members who have beaten the VOG 3 times because you HAVE to know your job and be able to do it very well. So with that, congratulations to those who participated in last night's raid, I will stay true to my promise and help as many Crusaders as I can to beat the VOG. Carry the Light.
