How do I get this particular loot chest?
Yeah, I know, walk up and hold the button, let's all laugh at the stupid noob, ha ha ha. Well, what if I told you this was the second time I've encountered this particular loot chest, in this particular spot, and have NEVER BEEN ABLE TO OPEN IT. Ha ha, let's all laugh at how much this guy sucks... well, fine. You try opening it... and if you do, how the heck did you manage to pull it off!?
This chest is a randomly generated chest, and is located on the Moon. It's inside the building to the left of the hill where you begin patrols. It appears to be a regular chest, but every attempt to open it ends in failure, namely because you can't just walk up to the front to open the thing. Every time I try, I'm always pushed to the side by some invisible wall-like force. I hop on top of the locker and stand by the side of the chest, but the prompt never appears. I've even managed to stand on top of it once, but no luck. There are some boxes on the floor, but the wall-like force prevents anyone from standing on them. And while there are some chess that show up in similar spots in similar rooms, this particular one truly seems impossible.
But just in the off chance that it's not, how do I get this particular loot chest?

This looks like the chest on the moon to me... which I've had multiple problems getting. Go back to orbit and re enter patrol mode. If you dont, you'll have 1 less chest respawning on your loop

Yeah. First time shame on you. Second time shame on me. When I see that one I ignore it. Never have been able to open it.

I have seen some of these - I realized that they sometimes load backwards so just try it from the other side and it should open - Obviously you might have tried this and it could be something else but worth a shot.

3 RepliesFind another chest, open it, then return and try to open the bugged one. At least this always worked for me.

Edited by MythicMapper: 10/9/2014 9:11:26 PMThere are also just bugged locations. There's a bugged vex cave, and a bugged area in skywatch on earth near where the loot car was, as well as in the spawning area of earth for patrols, in the room with the Level.. 18? 14? Hive.
