Well was your K/D at least even 1? Remember you need to take it easy. Camp by heavy weapon spot and find/buy shotty with void damage. It will help a lot. You will die, but as long as you get kill for every death that's 3 points for you right there. I know how annoying this is, because I tried it way back and got so pissed off that I got rid of bount altogether. Didn't havy any void damage weapons either outside of pulse rifle which I am not a big fan of. But when I got it second time (picked it by accident tbh...) it was smooth sailing with shotty and LMG.
