I hope which ever designer thought it'd be cool for us to go run around the crucible killing with a void damage to get this revolver has a strong a beautiful family.
I hope he has a son that he's proud of and hopes to see grow and flourish into a proud young man with his entire life ahead of him.
And then I hope somebody kills that son with void damage.

So, I finally started the THORN quest. unfortunately my plan of buying the vanguard void shotty & lmg (300 v-marks ) went up in smoke. i discovered you can't stack more than 200 v-marks at any given time !! (thanx for the heads up bungie). As a result nearly 50 v-marks were lost before i'd noticed. So anyhoot, i managed to find similar void weapons in PVE drops. And this is how it went down : 1st game : 33/500. i thought, better grab the sh#tbucket coz this is going to take a while. 2nd game : 17/500. BLAM !! 3rd game : 23/500. O...kay 4th & 5th game : could'nt bear to look. 6th game: 2/500. BBBLLAAAAAAMMM !! So, after doing the obvious, i.e. scrapping the quest, i found myself pondering the obvious............why don't any of the vendor's sell void AR's / pulse rifles / hand cannons ??? ...............hmmm.

The PVP is not hard. Wait till you have to beat the unwed. I just got the Thorn and I am diapointed with it.

Edited by WildSlinkys: 10/9/2014 7:52:16 AMI agree it's hard but persevere and you can do it eventually. I play a hunter so had to rely on weapons only and I am also pretty bad at pvp (seriously I have an average of 0.6 K/D). Took me a while and was frustrating after sometimes dropping 30-40 points after a match but I got it in the end. I also don't quit a match just cause I'm losing heaps. I found if I was having a hard time and losing a bunch just had to walk away and come back another time. I've also done the pvp parts of both other exotic bounties too, doing all 3 at the same time helped :) Now I have to try the next bit....Good luck. P.S> I used all green weapons from random drops - fusion/sniper depending on map size and rockets.

I'm sure nobody saw the #satire.

looking for help with last part of bounty gt agitatedjohndoe
-
I have no void shotty/fusion. Sucks doing this with sniper/rockets. Keep checking smith and cryparch. Nothin
-
Didn't take me long to get the 100 kills with void, maybe an hour or two, hard part was the last one.
-
Void fusion rifle ftw. I done it in 7 games and i was drunk lol. Remember if possible use void class abilities aswell.
-
Use a void heavy machine gun and then either a fusion or shotgun with void damage. It's really not that hard. I found it easiest on control. Just can't rush flags gotta play for the points and camp out for the heavy. Then once you got heavy ammo that score will go up real fast.
-
Took me 8 games. Way easier than the final part of the bounty.
-
Oh noes! A challenge!
-
If you have a void shotgun and good survival in pvp, you are set. Makes you feel cheap if you don't play like a camper, but the biggest challenge is the level 26 moon strike...
-
I feel ya. I got the same bounty. My void weapons are garbage.
-
Void warlock. Void shotgun. Void rocket launcher. Camp. An hour later you get that part of the bounty done.

I need help with this bounty level 28s & higher PSN: Antbone215

Edited by VW Sosko: 10/8/2014 10:34:42 PMLooking for help doing the final part of the Bounty. Killing Xyor the Unwed my GT is "VW Sosko" Lvl 27 XBONE
-
A bit harsh don't you think? I found that part quite easy, it took less than 10 games. Try using a shotgun/fusion rifle in Rumble, the maps are smaller so you don't need to worry about range as much.
-
I am actually on my second time around doing this exotic weapon bounty. I am not a huge fan of PVP but it isn't that difficult to do. I think I did it in like 10 regular cruicible games the first time. I am doing it again in Iron Banner and imagine it will take longer this time.
