Disagree. You received the game you paid for and you are not entitled to any free DLC. As you must be aware, DLC costs money and time to make, and if it's. given away for free then there won't be very much DLC produced because spending time and money to give something away free is bad business. And the video games industry is a a BUSINESS. If you don't like the state of Destiny currently, either be patient and see how things are in 6 months to a year. OR just stop playing it, you won't be missed. But for the love of all that is holy, STOP asking for free DLC and stop assuming you're entitled to these things.

  • SOME of the areas in the upcoming DLC exist on the disk as far as we know. However they are unpopulated with enemies or lootable chests/material caches. There is nothing to do in these areas. That's part of what Bungie is working on. You clearly haven't played a lot of MMOs or don't know much about game design as a process, if you think this kind of thing doesn't happen often in MMOs. If you have a genuine problem with this, then you don't have to spend the money on the DLC. If you already did, then just ba patient and wait to see what the DLC ends up being and THEN if you don't enjoy it, you have a right to complain. But not much, because you paid for something before knowing exactly what you were getting. Caveat Emptor.

  • Ok no, the DLC missions are not on the disk. The only things that are out is the unfinished areas, but not the other stuff. You know that companies work on DLC before their games come out right? No? You don't? Hmmm, well then. Now you know! If bungie thinks it will work better if the areas are already there, then I say let em. You got what you paid for. And the me, this game is fun and I feel like I got what I paid for.

  • You haven't read this properly and you clearly like to pay for a duff product. The game was and is still advertised as story driven, there is not story to speak of and that should be fixed with anyone having to pay for it considering it was removed last minute.

  • You don't know me enough to say that I clearly like to do anything. I am mostly satisfied with the product I purchased, but look forward to updates in the future. Games evolve both gameplay and story wise as they are developed. And if you bought into marketing buzzpeak like "rich cinematic storytelling", and/or didn't play the beta and get a feel for what the final product would be like, that's no one's fault but your own. I'm not saying Destiny has a great story because anyone who's played it knows that it is lacking, but I, and plenty of others, never expected Mass Effect level storytelling in this game. I'm sorry you're disappointed, but Bungie does not owe you any free DLC to "fix" the story to your liking. You're better off moving into another game if that's really what you're hoping for.

  • But "Rich Cinematic Storytelling" was as it was advertised. And really should be added in. And I agree it should be patched in at little to no cost to the player. Not saying the new missions or areas, just stuff to flesh out what is already there. The things it doesn't explain when it should. And then some voice over stuff, like new voice actors for your ghost. I'd pay money to replace Droll Dinklebot with a fresh new skin and a voice pack from Snoop Dogg/Lion/Antelope/whatever he's calling himsel these days or something of that sort. And I got off topic.. but all hype aside.. companies should at least aim to deliver on thier advertisments. Cuase sure, they made money on this on by way of overhype, but think in the long run, a lot of people feel cheated by the "Finished Product" and that's going to make the skeptical and hesitant to buy further products from Bungie and Activision. Public Image can make or break a company.
