i mean it's an idea but it isnt a good one. your entire post is only about the good a trading system would offer. And yes while most of your points are pretty accurate, when have you ever seen the majority of people use a system how its intended instead of exploiting it? Its just like communism, a brilliant idea in theory but when put into action human nature will inevitably ruin it. Trading ruins loot based games, there's no more need to play to get exotics just farm up materials and grab yourself something someone has double of. Exotics will lose their value as exotics, people will lose intrest in the game. Raid gear will no longer require completing the raid. Icebreakers and mythoclats will be more common than a shingen.
