The truest arena map ever made, an orchestrated slaughter. Warlock was special, reminded me of a map long ago. Surface Base connected to subterranean base. Primary access was a long shaft, filled with jetpacking fighters and falling bodies. Warlock is the first map I ever played that came close to the frenetic, futile fire-fights on Bloodbath. Few are the opportunities in which the enemy is always right outside. No hunting needed.

Not that I don't like that map, but it doesn't make sesne to me I guess. I just feel like there are tons of other original Halo 2 maps that I wanted to see. Burial Mounds and Relic would have been cool. Regardless of how I feel about it, though, I think the new paint looks great and I'm sure that nostalgia will kick in the second I'm running around. Little over a month left!
