What you -blam!-ing ignoramus' don't get is that if you join a strike and do this, you are missing out on loot. Nobody gives a shit if your selfish ass wants to rush Vanguard rep/marks. Go do it with your (non-existant) friends, instead of wasting random peoples time. Or better yet, go do patrol missions, it's much more efficient. You are literally gaining nothing by rushing.

Missing what? A few blues? At ten times the amount of time taken? You want blues/piles of low level loot? Do a chest run in patrol. Strikes are about the payoff after the big fight, marks and rep. I can get more loot in ten minutes on the moon than you can in a 1/2 hour strike of your choosing.

I think you need to look into what random actually means. You have more of a chance that legendary items will drop from enemies you kill than enemies you ignore obviously. Bumping the difficulty up to lvl 24+ has no effect on the loot you get at the end of the strike. As I said, marks and rep? You're better off doing patrols. The difference is when you're doing a patrol you're solo, not being an asshole and rushing a strike.

Don't recall ever getting marks from patrols. Not 6 of them. Rep yes. But if you're going for rep, you may as well do bounties.

Bumping it up to level 24 DOES effect the loot you get at the end lmfao, I've ran the Tiger Strike about 30 times and now and atleast 10 times I got 3 engrams as the reward, running by mobs and getting the end reward adds up over time, you wanna kill mobs for drops just go to the a loot cave.

Regardless, even if it does (it doesn't) what makes you think running through the strike, killing a boss, getting 1 possibly 2 (or even 0) items a time is more efficient than EVERY SINGLE MOB you kill having a chance to drop a legendary? -blam!- me, it isn't difficult to understand.

You get guaranteed 1 rare engram for beating it, and more than 80% of the time you will get 2 or 3, running a strike in 10 mins isn't hard at all so yes I would take 3 engrams for 10 mins of work over shooting level 24 enemies that have the same RNG as a level 2.

Chances are even before the patch you wouldve been awarded an item. Now its guaranteed changes nothing about what I've said. Yea the RNG is the same as level 2, and? Why do you think people spent hours at the loot cave? Almost every Exotic and Legendary I have received has been from random drops, Nightfall or PVP. NEVER from the end of a strike. I love how you keep saying you might get 3 items. Just lol.

Whatever. He can walk. We'll keep running, racking up the marks, acing the strikes and claiming the real prizes. If I EVER had a legendary engram drop from a thrall I'd change my tune, but it's never happened. Most of the time green, occasionally blue, but never purple. I'd rather hone my skills against enemies with a pulse anyways, killing Dreg and thralls doesn't sate my appetite for a good gunfight. I'll just leave guys like the janitor here to mop up the easy stuff and pray that he doesn't trip and blow his own head off with his suros lol
