I think the Arc Blade (once activated) should last till the end of the match.. And you should be able to snipe with Chinese stars during Arc Blade.

Not limited to just killing enemies in your game, but the stars would travel to other crucible matches, strikes and raids and just wipe out all enemy targets.

They need to be homing, cluster stars that when they kill an enemy, causes them to explode into more stars.
