I do most of my strikes for bounties and stuff. So I speed through it. Additionally, I want the end roll. You could stop to kill the trash in the non-darkness zone, but then you're slowing done your group who wants to continue. By your logic, you want to kill as much as possible because you think strikes give better/more drops, not to sound like a butt, but where's the proof? I hear people always saying that but what even? Anyway, as I was saying, if you just complete the strike with your team then you can go on your merry way to do another strike and farm for more engrams, no ones stopping you from doing multiple strikes, so there's no reason to destroy trash in the non-darkness zones as if they're more special than the enemies in the darkness zone. Tends to be more enemies to farm from in the darkness anyway, so why stop in the patrol areas?
