Get off the bash train. NOW!

Just knock it off. People get mad at hard work or expanded story. Look I'm not saying the game doesn't have its issues, but complaining and crying won't fix it. It's like stating someone's car is broken without even giving a way to fix it or any advice that might help. It makes your statement pointless and useless. Let's try something. How about if you have any issues that you state what your issue is and pose an idea on how they might be able to fix it. Because crying and throwing a temper tantrum won't do the game any good or make anything better. OK so to help promote my point I'll pose my big issues with the game then come up with a solution. Story and overworld for me need work the story is broken and short. Overworld is small and feels at times pointless aside from bounties. My solution for both Story: I feel that a clear narrative would be better then a plot point styled story telling. So basically a story playlist or something along those lines that basically says of you start 1 story mission it will pull you into the next one immediately with no menus in between. This way the story doesn't feel broken. That was 1 major reason why halo's story took off very well. 2. Overworld: the overworld for me feels like pointless areas the only reason for them is for patrol missions. Outside of that it's useless. I'm not exactly sure how you would do this but I'd like more story missions to be integrated. Into the overworld. As in "go here to start (name) mission" the map menu on each planet should be fast travel locations instead of mission start points. Also the overworld should be far more vast in my opinion. Both bigger as a whole and more really wide open areas. Currently there's little need for speeders let alone different stated speeders. I feel like these would be very positive changes from destiny's current state. Lemme state that I don't think these are update-able ideas. I see drastic changes like this being destiny 2 ideas or dlc at least.

  • Here I'll give this a go. My problem is that the worlds feel very barren and like we aren't trying to wage a war on the darkness but just hide. My solution have outposts that go back and forth between the guardians and the darkness's control. When the faction holds the outpost they get buffs so it costs less glimmer to buy items easy outposts to hold and take. To more difficult ones that reduce the cost of items being purchased with marks, then the hardest ones to take and hold give exp and rep boosts. I feel there should also be a sparrow outpost that allows for the faction to summon their fast travel units ie sparrow and pikes. I feel this would just add more depth all in all so what does everyone think?
