[spoiler]Destiny starts off with a tiny robot called a "ghost" bringing back your character from the dead not zombie style or anything gruesome. your then shown the traveler a dying being that enhances civilizations. dying because the darkness has hurt it. Why does this bother you a previously dead being? [/spoiler] Well actually why not join the other side? Why not be the Villain? Personally I'd like to see the ability to join the darkness where players who chose to join if patrolling in an area where a mission darkness starts they'd be seen by those playing the mission as an enemy kind of like an invasion from dark souls. Would you if you could?
