it is incredibly obvious now that you mention it. That is quite the accidental blunder. I don't believe it was intended. It is a shame that there are a lot of prats on here who have decided to insult you because you have been offended by this. They are everything wrong with the world in my opinion. The truth is that people perceive images in different ways and something that some may not see can stand out to others. This often needs to be taken into consideration given that there are many offensive symbols in the world. At the same time though, it should be taken into consideration that the symbols seen by some may not have been the intention of the artist. For that reason I don't think removing it from the game is a solution.

  • I don't personally believe this person was offended by this. Its more likely it was a post trying to give himself attention. Hence, I am fine with the ridicule. If you have to give step by step instructions on how to "see" this symbol, then its not really there.

  • I appreciate what you are saying and you are probably right. I just think people jumping to conclusions is only going to make the situation worse. It does rather stick out so I can see how it would be spotted without instructions but again I don't think it was intended.

  • if we are going to take the approach of "anything that can be remotely turned into an offensive symbol by removing other parts of the picture" is bad, and therefor should be removed...then we might as well cancel art. forever.

  • I'm pretty sure I made it clear that it obviously wasn't intended and that both parties need to take one another's views and perceptions into account, didn't I? If not, just to clarify, I do not believe this needs to be removed nor any other piece of art that may be considered offensive.
