Sorry I'm a bit late with the walkthrough this week. For Dust Palace you will need fire and arc weapons. Arc for the Scions, Fire for the centurions. Make sure you stock up on bulletcakes again as well.
For this nightfall, there are a few things that will make your run easier. You can grab interceptors from the first scan point, and bring them with you all the way up to the point before the lieutenants, where you can then get another interceptor you can bring to the room before the boss.
I recommend to run through with interceptors until you get to the lieutenants, but before hopping on the interceptors there, to thin out the mobs as much as possible with your weapons, unless you can clear all the mobs without taking much interceptor damage. Take cover in the interceptor room after the first lieutenant, as a drop ship comes in to drop off the second group. As long as you don't run into the fray, this section is pretty easy to get through with some patience.
After clearing the first 3 lieutenants, the land tank arrives. This is why you wanted your interceptors to not take damage. There are spots on the left and right sides of the big rock that you can fire from without dropping into the tank area. Straffe back and forth, firing at him. if you see the red turret charge, get behind cover.
Because of the Arc Burn here, a titan with FoH can nearly one shot the tank because there are so many damage points, if you have a striker with you, I would heavily recommend this strategy.
After taking down the tank, you will move forward to a group of weaker enemies, kill em for ammo if you need it, if not, move right on past to the final mob room. After killing these guys, you can enter the boss chamber.
There will be 2 legionaries to the left when you enter. Kill them and move to the far right side near where he spawns. There is a series of crates that create a safe cover point behind them. Move your whole fireteam back there. From here you can jump to fire at the boss in relative safety. Eventually he switches sides. Kill as many adds as you can through the gaps in the crates, before jumping out to kill the rest. Dps the boss until he walks back. At about 20% health he may start pushing toward the safe zone. This is good, you can headshot him in safety.
It is possible for him to fall behind the crates, if this happens, jump out immediately. If you stay in view of him he will fire rockets and kill himself. Either way, through bullets or suicide he dies, and you are the lucky recipient of a flaming helmet and some awesome loot.
Until next week guys!
