Destiny - Story
Awful story. For a Bungie game I was expecting a story at least a hundredfold better, extremely short and repetitive using Dinklebot to hack something and then go to a horde mode for a minute or two. Absolutely no memorable characters. If the Exo Stranger got sniped halfway through the cutscene, I couldn't care less. The different alien races are faceless. What are their motives? What's an Awoken? Were the Exos made by humans? And when the Speaker tells you about when everybody was gathering below the Traveler, it was pretty fascinating. Imagine an army if Fallen and an army if Guardians fighting for survival. It just feels like you got there late, like how Gamespot describes the story.

AND WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THE -blam!-ING GRIMOIRE CARDS??! There is so much hidden lore in the cards!!! One actually says the Cabal put rockets on one of Mars's moons to use it as a projectile to destroy Earth!!! What the flying -blam!- Bungie?! that would've been badass! External resources are meant to extend the lore, NOT BE THE LORE!!!

Halo - Story
Halo's story has to be one of the best I've ever played. Memorable characters, Master Chief doesn't even need explanation, he may be a soulless brick, but he's a soulless brick with personality! Along with that, the lore is incredible. One could go on for hours simply talking about the basics.
Destiny - Loot
An hour in Diablo 3: A load of loot.
An hour in Borderlands: A load of loot
An hour in Destiny: A Legendary Engram. Jk it's just an uncommon, lol.
--<>--Intense Rage Rant Incoming--<>--When you're playing a strike for 2 hours straight, you expect some sort of Exotic right?! NOPE. You get a Vegas style slot machine and all you can do is cross your fingers you get anything at all. In PvP all you have to do is be afk and get a soda or something! 40.0 KD? Doesn't mean anything, it's all random. Bungie totally striked out on loot. Big time.
Halo - Loot

Destiny - PvP
*Sigh* What went wrong here? Balance? Unfair starts? Both? Whats with level 20+ kicking level 10- asses all around the maps? I'm aware the weapons are lowered for PvP, but they still have the stats on them. The map designs are decent, my favorite being either Twilight Gap or Rusted Lands. Also did i mention the loot thing?
Halo - PvP/Multiplayer
Halo 2 takes the crown being possibly the best multiplayer FPS of all time. Excellent map designs, weapons, and balance. Halo 2 actually gave Microsift ideas with their Xbox 360 with voice messages, parties (If I remember correctly.) etc.
And to you people are just about to say, "LEL, XBAX FANBOY LMAO" save it. I honestly think the PS4 is better than the Xbox One. Especially with Microsoft shooting themselves in the foot with the worst console reveal OF ALL TIME. But I'm still an Xbox guy, i own an Xbox 360, an Xbox One, and a fat stack of Xbox games. Also, I really like a good number of PS exclusives. (Killzone, inFamous, GoW, TLoU, etc. Are really awesome. Not lying.)
Well, I'm all done here. Have a good one.

At least in this game when you get an upgrade, it's a more meaningful one. I appreciate all the good stuff I get in game because good gear is rare. Sometime's its the driving force keeping me playing. "When am I going to get that next cool piece?" I find myself wondering.
