Should Arc Blade also have a shield?
I don't know about you guys, but arc blade is one of the more underpowered supers. Sure it's fine if you are in close quarters and other players can't escape, by most of the time this isn't the case. Players can easily jump back and shoot you. That's why I think activating arc blade should also give you a shield that triples your defense. This will actually make Arc Blade an effective super instead of a joke.

2 RepliesIn addition: They should also add homing throwing knives that can be spammed halfway across the map that track and one shot people. The shield, homing knifes, 3 times super ninja speed, that would almost make it on par with the other classes.

1 ReplyYes I agree completely. You should also be able to throw the blade, and have unlimited blades to throw. It would also be helpful if the blades exploded on impact so you can get slash damage. I think that would even it out a bit. [spoiler]NOT[/spoiler]

Perhaps not a shield but if the arc blade could deflect say 70% of the bullets fired at the hunter with a flurry of blade swipes would be cool.

I think you need to re-examine your blade dancer layout if you're getting owned in PvP. Look up some good PvP builds and examine your play style. A few changes here and there can really make a difference. I for one have yet to kill a blade dancer who wasn't already missing his shields when he engaged me. I've watched them take out a Defender titan with both his bubble and melee shield active. Blade Dancer is NUTS when built properly. Just need the gear to compliment it.

Its skill related, you have to time your activation if you want a good super. If you activate it at a bad time, you're gonna get shot gunned in the face. Its all mechanics.

3 RepliesA joke? If you can't use the Arc Blade effectively as is, then you should probably stick with the Gunslinger. I have four Bladedancer friends, all of which are with me right now, and they're crazy OP in PVP.

Yeah I think even just the overage old you get from reviving someone would make it a lot better. For example with thee golden gun people might not even see where you're coming from. But with blade dancer you can get a shotgun to the face and not even get close to killing someone.
