...or if we do, we arn't always on at the same time. eg time zones.
I've not even been able to try the Vault of Glass yet because I don't know enough people to do it. I've tried inviting randoms, hanging out in front of the entrance, a tonne of stuff, to find a raid group. But its just kinda hard to do.
and I understand theres limitations to it matchmaking with something like this, but I still wanna have the option. I mean you'd still have the dedicated clans doing it successfully, but like you said in the last weekly update, theres been teams of randoms that did it successfully.
Its just really alienating for those who can't find 5 people to play with at once.
I know theres been third party systems made by players, but I'd still love matchmaking to be a thing...also having to rely on a third party system to find a raid group is silly imo.
EDIT
New idea: Add Raid Ranks.
eg: someone who's done the VoG raid 5 times successfully would be "VoG RR 5" (RR = Raid Ranks)
These ranks would be for each raid.
Example:
DLC raid comes out House of Wolves Raid (HoW for short)
Lets say the same bloke who has a "VoG RR 5" has beat this new raid 3 times, his HoW Raid rank would be: "HoW RR 3"
So this way we know whi is experienced at it. There could be multiple Raid play lists, eg you have to have a Raid Rank of a certain amout to play it.
Eg VoG RR 5 playlist would require only those who have beaten the raid 5 or more times.
That way the veterans wouldn't have to deal with the new player who know nothing about it and the new players could learn together on the base VoG
