Hey Bungie! I just wanted to give a shout out to you guys regarding the glorious raid that is The Vault of Glass! My friends and I have only just attempted our 2nd run through of it, and it's taken us forever and a half just to get to the glass throne itself but I have to say, every minute of it has been a blast! I love the tactical effort it takes to communicate with your team, share ideas, and keep trying over and over until you figure out how to solve the puzzle. From the Templar encounter with Negation, the fanatics, and oracles, to the labyrinth where every minute of sneaking around not shooting a shot at anything is the most exhilarating thing during every attempt to escape. And let me tell you how stupid we all felt when we realized that the labyrinth, really only takes about a minute and a half to get out of, if not less. I also very much enjoy the jump puzzles. It's kind of funny to watch a team member fall to his doom after frantically looking for another platform to appear while the one he's standing on disappears. Anyways, what I'm getting at here is I love the raid experience, it keeps things exciting, it keeps us on edge, and it's an awesome challenge. You guys have really outdone yourselves. However... I do have one complaint. Oh I know here it comes... Sometimes I entertain myself with the thought that I'm constantly being watched, examined, studied and perhaps even.... Trolled, during gameplay haha! I do bounties every day, I usually catch an event most days during the bounties, I strike, I crucible, and now adding to the list I'm raiding and looting chests like crazy, and hoping soon to start getting some Nightfall action. But in my quest to reach the maximum light level of 30, it's becoming increasingly difficult as every thing I do in game just rewards me with... Ascendant energy... I upgrade my weapons I do ofc, and it's nice to have when I want to make such upgrades. But I must say that I feel kind of jipped when everyone else in my fire team is getting shards instead! Fully upgrading gear is the most frustrating and tedious thing when shards are so uncommon and random. Maybe it's just me? I don't want max level to be some easy thing that I'm hand held all the way to, but gosh dang it! Why do I have a stack of 35 Ascendant Energy sitting in my inventory and only 5 shards?? Just one away from a measly upgrade! Why!? Lol... Just thought I'd share my pain, and wonder if it's too much to ask for a little break. In the meantime... I guess I'll keep the hunt on.
