Are you more of a PVP player then PvE? Honest question not an insult.

No, I'm much more PvE. Only reason I'm sucking shit in PvP is I'm trying to grind out marks for Faction gear. Once I get the Dead Orbit Scout Rifle next week, PvP will never see me again. It's also why I created a thread to suggest allowing the Faction vendors to also accept Vanguard Marks as payment and not just Crucible Marks. But I'm still having a blast on the PvE side of the coin. :)

So you honestly don't feel cheat by the story being cut last minute?

Edited by Vampire Nox: 10/4/2014 5:14:21 PMNo. None of the other MMO's I play gives you the story straight out either. It's revealed over time, and not just in the original slate of missions; but over the course of DLC and expansions as the games grow and move forward. I primarily play MMO's and RPG's, so this isn't a new concept to me. Just more familiar territory as far as storytelling is concerned.

No other mmo have tried to sell themselves on story line, destiny have and did.

That's debatable dependent on a person's perception of the marketing campaign.

If you read the back of your game case you see the term "rich cinematic storytelling" seems like it to me.

And I think they fulfilled that description. I'm also looking at this in the light of an MMO, where the story fully unfolds over time and through extra content downloads; not as an FPS (like most of the CoD kids bitching about it are) where the story can be contained on one disc easily. But what they've given us with the launch game has satisfied me well enough, and intrigued me that I'm more than willing to pay for the DLC to see how the full story unfolds.
