Agreed, not a full game not even a episode. Well it might be an episode but I would never have paid full price for one episode.

I am curious. How much gameplay should someone get out of a full game, compared to an episode? I am not talking how long it takes to complete the story mode

After the full revelation of everything that went on within Bungie in the parts of 2013 it kinda gives an impression that this game wasn't what it once was. I personally don't feel like this story was well thought out, nor were these missions. All I was doing was defending a position and I really didn't know why. In Halo, or even shitty games like CoD, I knew why I was participating in certain objectives. Like in Halo 1, when I went back to the PoA, I knew it was to set off the nuclear reactors. I still don't know why I was sent to Venus in the first place in Destiny. The stranger was just kind of.... A glass in the middle of a table in a clean room. Just there, with no real explanation why. This same thing happened in ME3. The story end was completely bogus and unexplained. Destiny's story is unexplained in its entirety.

What full revelation?

The explanation provided by 404Architect. It only makes sense as to why this game is very different from how it should be. I think its true.
