Many of us are talking about the story thus far whether for good or bad. (Vote!)
Do you think Bungie should remaster the story as they come up with updates and add further cut scenes to each mission that will improve story explanation? This can be done so that the current story we have feels more solid for those who feel it's lacking and for those who enjoy it, will feel like it's more rich and vibrant with life. This also can apply to future DLC, Do you want more Cut-scenes in that too?
I really feel like all the story cut-scenes we do have are amazingly done. I just think having more of them in other levels can flesh things out a bit more. For example like having scenes of the Fallen, Hive & Vex talking about you as you're invading, attacking or sabotaging there plans in the mission, just so we know more of the motives of these other characters in the game, or even a cut scene with our vanguard masters telling us stuff or introducing themselves. In the long run it only makes a great game better, am I right?
*This is not a post designed to rant about how poor the story is in Destiny. That is not what this post is about. I'm sure Bungie knows what needs to be worked on now that the game has launched.*

more cut scenes provided they actually explain what the hell is going on. More scenes of The Speaker saying stuff like "I could tell you...but I won't." and the stranger's famous "I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain" wont cut it. As the story currently stands, not only do they need to have more cut scenes, they have to raise the bar of story telling considerably.

Unfortunately all BUNGIE wants to do is cut more scenes

I think the cutscenes would make a big difference in the story and our part in it. Bungie has crafted a beautiful world, but did not fill it with any meaning or lore to keep you motivated...the main motivation now is finding better loot. I really enjoyed Halo 4's weekly Spec Ops mode. The actual missions started out vanilla but were improved upon each week. What made them fun was the weekly cutscenes that set up each of the 5 episodes. They were beautifully rendered CG segments that would make a great tv series on there own. Anyone that has played any Halo game knows the repetitive nature of the mission structure...turn on three beacons, disrupt three generators, deactivate three towers...regardless, what kept me playing was the story thru cutscenes, and the relationship with Cortana (character development), and the fluid combat with great physics and particle effects. More CG scenes to expand the lore, story, and your characters backstory and motivations are greatly needed to make this universe into something living and breathing.
