Has anyone else out there noticed that there has been a literal flood of posts and comments chastising bungie and other players about exotics. Specifically, the acquisition of exotics weaponry and gear, and the "real way" to get it.
Basically if you work hard to save strange coins and purchase it with your hard earned weird money after hours of dungeon grinding, you are a cheat who is only interested on free handouts.
But wait... If you are grinding in the vault if glass or weekly strike and you just happen upon an engram or chest with an exotic, you win the lottery and you haven't earned it.
Here's the deal.
I am a level 25 hunter who has had the game since it came out. It is by far my favorite game out there as of this current moment, and I try to play at least a few hours each day.
I have yet to purchase an exotic or find one in the VOG or anywhere else.
It's discouraging to me that when I do pick one up however, I will instantly be look badly upon by my fellow guardians regardless of however I acquired it, simply because I have it.
They are exotics.
They are the best of the best, and if you get killed multiple times in PvP by a noob with an exotic, shake it off.
That's what they are made for.
Stop bitching about every little gun, every little perk, every little class, focus, price of armor, mission, and your own bad luck.
Just play the game and enjoy and celebrate it for what it is.
A game.
And a damn fun one at that.
