DLC is taking the place of subscriptions for Destiny, unless you want to be paying for both PS+/Xbox Live [i]AND[/i] a monthly subscription...

Morons like you are justifying this marketing scheme (scam) making you believe this is an MMO, thus justifying barrages of dlc. Go play DC universe, THATS a console mmo. Its free to play ( like this contentless piece of crap should have been ) and you can buy dlc for membership status and priveledges. This glorified beta is a ripoff, its an idea sold without actually providing what wqs promised.

I'm not happy with the DLC either, DLC should never be released when the game's launched: only after a month or more because the game should have more than enough content. Sadly, that's not the case, but I believe that if not for DLC: we'd be paying for subscriptions

This is not an mmo though. Its not ' massively ' multiplayer. Its just a multiplayer fps. Tower has a limit of 16 players per 'channel', How is that massive? The only thing MMO-like is the forced repetition of doing the same missions over and over to get loot. Dont disgrace all true MMOs by calling this an MMO....total disgrace.

Dont disgrace all true MMOs by calling this an MMO....total disgrace.[/quote] Its more than co-op and competitive therefore 16 per channel is massive for a multiplayer CONSOLE game its always online wait that does make it a MMO you forget this wasn't designed for the PC and console like DCUO was therefore you won't have as many players due to the server capabilities. Also when DCUO came out I beat it in a week as well haven't touched it really since but even though I have "beat" destiny I'm still playing they give you reason to I guarantee everyone complaining hasn't hit level 30 yet that's why I'm still at it.

Of course there is once the dlc comes out anyone under will have one hard time playing catch up then they will cry because the game got to hard and they will want the difficulty nerfed

U mean those lvl 10-20 dlc story missions? Also level cap is 30. They arent extending it. So what is there for a lvl30 to do? Get more gear? For what? To farm materials for weeks to upgrade them? The game is good gameplay-wise but geez theres no point to it
