Nostalgia is a funny thing. The Halo games were great, and Bungie did a lot of great things with their community. But that was a long time ago.
It's bizarre to me just how many people around here are putting SO MUCH faith into Bungie the developer, without truly understanding the industry. Now I'm not suggesting that a culture of distrust and negativity should surround every single gaming developer out there.
But the more and more I read people's posts regarding Bungie, the more and more I think " blind faith".
They are in bed with Activision, which changes the dynamic largely. But even if you ingore that, this is 2014. Making games THAT MAKE MONEY are the primary goals of developers now. Not necessarily making great games. Make a game that is great, but doesn't make money, and you fail to get published.
People need to move on from the idea that this is the same Bungie that people fell in love with years ago.

It's not called faith, it's called loyalty. It seems like you lack it. You see, loyalty means trusting someone even when what they are doing may not appear the best, because you trust they have a plan. So yes, I do have faith in Bungie, but that's part of being loyal. Also, there is no such thing as blind faith, because faith is inherently not knowing what is going to happen, but trusting it will be good.
