As simple as the title. My roommate and I cannot join each other's fireteam. We both have Xbox One and are both on the same network (his is wired with an ethernet cable and mine is wireless). No matter who sends the invitation or where we are in the game, we get the message "Unable to join target player. Please try again." The problem started last Saturday. Before that, we were able to join and play without any problems. Has anyone else had this issue and/or found a solution?

Edited by woodey59: 10/20/2016 9:19:40 AMI have the same problem. all of the settings on the Xbox's are set up correctly but it still comes up with that message 'unable to join fireteam please try again later'. Here is what I have tried so fare and none have worked. Xbox says to check your Xbox settings to make sure you have 'Open NAT' which I have on both consols. bungie says to do this. To adjust who can and cannot join the Fireteam on this console, please follow the below steps: 1.From the Roster Section, select the icon at the top of your Fireteam roster. 2.This will open the Snap Party App on the side of your screen. From this menu, players are able to create and invite people to their party, as well as view their friends, messages, and notifications. 3.Once a party has been created, players toggle their party privacy settings between "Invite Only" and "Joinable". Neither of these have changed the problem of joining the same fireteam as my wife on the same network. Does anyone know if there is a solution to this problem, which appears to only effect Destiny and not other games that we play together. Yes UPNP is enabled on the router.

Have you got UPNP enabled on the router? that's the only way to get two Xboxes to work properly on the same network with out NAT issues.
