I have supported Bungie since the days of Halo 1. Like many others I've supported Bungie with my time, presence and hard earned Dollars. I consider myself a pretty hardcore , diehard supporter who would never question the validity of their video game products. With that being said I brought Destiny with the highest expectations of quality, longevity and uniqueness of a [Bungie] engineered product, without looking at any reviews, trailers or vid docs. I automatically assumed this game would either meet or exceed my expectations and sadly it hasn't. I want to say that I love Destiny for WHAT IT IS but am succinctly aware and miss what it was MEANT to be. The revelations made by Bungie staff on reddit about cut content validated all our assumptions that this is a half finished game ( not a half assed one.) So now we come to an inextricable impasse: if we force a dlc boycott activision might not release or severely limit much needed additional content. However if we mindlessly shell out 40 bones for a lackluster expansion pack destiny will turn into 100+ dollar paperweight...
What I suggest is we all put on our big boy pants and further support a phenomenal developer who has DILIGENTLY given us thousands of hours of fun and excitement. I for one am willing to ante up 20 extra dollars to release all unfinished ( non dlc) related content that will fully flesh out the story and expand upon the possibly cut multiplayer content. Below you will find a petition by ------- to form an official request by Bungie faithful to release additional content for free and to pledge $20 dollars used to help facilitate that process. Can we get 100k signatures?
