That's not quite what I'm saying. While Bungie may have taken money from Activision to develop Destiny, it is Bungie's IP not Activision's and ultimately the choices being made in regards to the franchise are Bungie's not Activision's.

And you have proof of this? Regardless if Bungie owns the IP or not, they are still in a contractual agreement with Activision, and Activision is still funding Bungie's efforts, thus they very well could have the last say in decisions, especially in things like setting deadlines and what content to keep/cut and what charge for or not.
-
Who agreed to the terms of the contract and signed the contract with Activision? Bungie. Because of that Bungie is fully responsible for what Destiny is and isn't. They put themselves into the situation (favorable or unfavorable) and others throwing blame at Activision for perceived imperfections is just them wanting an easy scapegoat.
Who agreed to the terms of the contract and signed the contract with Activision? Bungie.
Which proves nothing in regards to the argument. Bungie may own the IP, but does not guarantee they have full creative freedom.

Actually it proves everything in regards to the argument. If they signed away creative freedom, that is on Bungie.
