How long ago was the golden age?
Destiny is set in the 2700's. The golden age was when humans colonized other planets in the solar system, so how long ago was this from the games present day? Because I've been reading the grimoire cards and I've been seeing the word "ancient" a lot in the same sentence when talking about the golden.
For example
While the origins of the Future War Cult are greatly debated, their mark has been found on ancient chambers and encampments throughout the system, dating them back to the late Golden Age.

Edited by Izeria: 10/1/2014 3:01:18 PMJudging from the opening scene, the golden age starts soon after travelers arrival (from current time) Judging by the old tech here and there, people from earth literally rushed to other planets. I don't think the golden age actually lasted very long, perhaps just a few decades. Then again, the "story" of golden age in the relation of old technology here and there could mean anything. The story we have now seems to be something else completely in comparison to what was originally planned.
