Which Hunter subclass do you prefer playing: Bladedancer or Gunslinger?
Why do you prefer that subclass?
Do you have a particular primary/special/heavy loadout you think works particularly well for your preferred subclass?

I have a build that uses max discipline and the rest into intellect which is complemented by the young ahamkara's spine for two tripmines. I then use monte carlo (or as I call it, king carlo) to cover my usage of knives, only takes a couple of shots from monte carlo before I get into the perfect range and health to get a clean kill from the knife. I utilize the tripmines to maintain control of the battlefield and initiate fights. I always have something at the ready to counter a play with this loadout because of how it is built around always having a trick up your sleeve and the only thing killing you, is not using it properly

I'd say gunslinger for pvp as you can take players out with one shot but in pvp I find it not very useful unless you have my icon helm but I'd always go blade da car for pve Void walker with the right combination I'd use it for both ok

The only time I use Bladedancer is for the Crota raid. Invisibility is very key

2 RepliesGunslinger for everything but the lamp section of the Crota raid. Better grenades, better perks, throwing knife and you're not near as vulnerable using your super.

I think this post perfectly describes hunters lol everyone I know who has a hunter likes both classes about the same because they have such vastly different uses!

Bladedancer because i like to play as sort of a "medic" roll. When my team is down i can just cloak. And I use Gunslinger when im trying to deal damage

I went with Gunslinger originally and had a lot of fun...but I'm much better with Bladedancer... The immediate ready perk is insanely useful in PvP.... Given the choice- I'd have Bladedancer now but secretly I'm a gunslinger at heart...

gunslinger: Fatebringer (WoC for Crota raid) black hammer (icebreaker for soloing stuff) gjallarhorn ( or unfriendly giant if I want to use icebreaker)

Gunslinger. For some reason, I just can't blade dance. Everyone else is nigh invincible, I take a fart to the face and I'm dead.
