Bungie, I'm making this post because it has currently been 60+ hours since your last publication about this issue. We may not be the majority of users and you may not have an ETA, but this is not acceptable. The impacted users for no fault of our own, other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time, have been suffering from this issue for almost 5 days. Some of us that have been actively browsing the forums have seen you guys posting in other threads or forums, but choosing not to comment on our situation. It's hard to remain optimistic when you've used words like "Majority" when describing your fixed impacted accounts. I've remained optimistic the past 5 days, but its starting to feel like we may have been left in the dust.
So I ask you, [b]where are you now[/b]?
I can understand that you guys may be still reeling from all the backlash, requests and issues that have arisen since launch. However, I feel like you lacked foresight to prepare yourselves to properly provide support and that's part of the reason you're struggling. This has caused the whole experience to be very dissatisfying and a bad reflection on yourselves. I hope to see efforts made to better accommodate those who need support and provide better communication, so that you can avoid similar situations in the future.

We've recently updated the CENTIPEDE help page here: http://www.bungie.net/7_Error-Code-CENTIPEDE/en/Help/Article/11875 We are absolutely listening to your feedback and experiences, and we know how hard it is to stay optimistic. It can be difficult to see our inner-workings but these issues are keeping a great many people very busy. We are sorry for these errors and will continue to update players when we can.

Plastefuchs XB1 centipede since 9/25 My profile on Bungie also I can't load: "unable to load profile, plese try later". When i log off, I can see only my Level 20 warlock which has the centipede error. It does not show my newer Level 18 Warlock, I created on 27/9 after the Centipede Error.

Here's a question for anyone with this issue. I have the same problem and am locked out of my main character but was able to start a new one. Not happy about that but something to do in the mean time til things get fixed. But my question is this, since getting the centipede error, my bungie profile now doesn't come up. It says unable to load destiny acccount. Is this happening to anyone else, is it part of the same issue or something entirely new and specific to me?

Looks like I'm back in the game. I'm missing my leg armor, however so I'm back to level 23. I'll deal with that.

I also have not been able to play destiny for about 5 days straight now. Centipede error as well. Irritating since there is a cool event going on (Queen's Wrath) in which I cannot participate. While the communal aspect of Destiny makes it quite fun and novel since you never know who you are going to be grouped with, the fact that I can't play a game that I spent $60 for is a bit ridiculous. Judging from the response, I would say that the amount of users having this problem is more it would seem. I had been playing Destiny for several days without issue, which makes me think that the problem is on Bungie's end and has nothing to do with my settings, and I am not on a college server. Oh well, I guess I'll go back to playing Vanquish, it seems to work every time...

Next week before we're likely to see a fix? Whatever went wrong sure did a darn good job of it. I don't really know what to say.

UPDATE [9/30 1:45PM] A fix went out on the 27th for players reporting accounts that are seeing CENTIPEDE errors specifically while signing in with their characters. This fix worked for some players, but not all. We have a new fix arriving tomorrow that we believe will help even more players.

Extremely well said Sir, I wish I could remain as optimistic as you. I have already compiled some information and if this problem has not been fixed 7 days from the incident which happened on 9/25 I plan to return the game to microsoft under the pretense of Defective. It is sad to say that Bungie, who has been so great in the past, will lose my patronage in the future due to their failure to remedy the situation gripping many of their customers.

I redownloaded Destiny and I managed to play for an hour and a half without any interruption! By FAR the longest time I could ever stay in the game since Thursday... Furthermore, I got a new error code this time: Fly! That's progress, right? Right?
