Everyone wants to jump on the "OMG BUNGIE HURT MY FEELERS QQQQQQQQQQ" bandwagon. I just want to make those of you who don't know, aware of who the real a$$hats are. Blizzard Entertainment - Was an amazing game studio. People couldn't wait for new expacs and new games and people willingly waited 3,5,7,10 years for the next new game for their favorite franchise. Then came along Activision, they bought Blizzard, but the consumer was promised that the game experience would still be the same and that the studio itself would remain untouched. Then they released the pile of dog shit that is Diablo 3. (Side Note: Before you jump all over me about how the console one is amazing, I'm talking from the PC PoV in which Blizzard games only dabled in before the Activion aquisition.) We played D3 on PC were dissappointed and many players left within a month after lauch. They then used the PC players as "beta testers" for the console game. The game was amazing on console, but the same persistant problems were never touched on PC. Then came Reaper of Wallets (Souls). They sold you a 60 dollar unfinished trash expansion, that may have fixed problems, but introduced a SLEW of new problems. No reworks on old legendaries, no trading, nerfing of farming areas, no pvp, 1 new class, and 1 shitty small act. Again they gave us dog crap and covered it in icing and told us to enjoy. As the community exploded in anger on their forums, they started to lock and delete threads, all the while still using those players as "testers" for their console release. Then the Reaper of Souls comes out for console and look what happened, they got trading, the nemesis system, and a bunch of fixes to the gameplay. The PC however is still stuck in limbo with no trading, no nemesis sytem, and still suffers from other bugs and issues. Destiny - Bungie had a dream, a vision, of the next big space odessey. We were engaged, excited, and on the edge of our seats. New trailers emerged, new enemies, weapons, armor, and a vast open world with an engagin story. Then the game shipped. We played in and some liked it, a majority of us didn't. (I enjoy the game). The story was crap, the limitation on areas was crap, the drop rates crap, and the game didn't reward you for playing it. I'm hoping they fix this mess, but the one thing that Blizzard and Bungie have in common: Activision. So to really sum it up, everything Activision touched turns to crap. They only want to squeeze the money from our bank accounts, they don't care about the gamer anymore. If Bungie and Blizzard were still off on their own I would bet my house that these games would have been amazing, and totally different from the fondant covered, dog crap, cake we were given. Here's to hoping for a long life to Destiny and I hope it gets better. -Madcuzbad
