(^just some music^)
It's been crossed by some.
Having criticisms and frustrations about a game -- and wanting to voice them -- is expected and acceptable. I've done it myself, here on these forums.
But those on the forums have to remember that people are working on this game. Not some machine which just pukes out games that has no emotions. I'm assuming most people at Bungie only have one occupation, and that's working at Bungie. In most adult lives, one's career is a big part.
I think most people who go to work for game companies are passionate. People who make games are usually people who love games, and want to make games that they, and other people, can enjoy. I don't think most people decide create games just because they'll get paid for it. It's something they like to do and want to do well.
So, as you relentlessly bash on a game (or maybe even launch personal attacks) in which many people have put many hours, days, weeks, months, and years of their lives into...
Remember that they are people. Be considerate.
Or at least try. That seems like something that's hard to come by on the Internet.

The people that do the real work on the games are the ones that don't deserve the hate, it's the higher ups that make the design decisions. Can't really hate on an artist or programmer or 3d modeller for doing what he's told.
